For calibrating your electronic pH tester

Note:

The calibration fluid can only be used once. It has a pH value of 7.0 in its sealed packaging. Once opened, the fluid can absorb carbon dioxide from the air, causing the pH value to gradually change.

After calibration, you can take water from the cold water tap and measure its pH value. This pH value is largely constant and can be used as a reference value. This allows you to determine whether recalibration is necessary.

Make sure to always keep the pH tester probe moist and close the cap over the wet probe. If you do this, the pH tester will probably only need to be calibrated every two to three months.
