Bromine can form as a waste product when bromine is used in the whirlpool. If you now add Lotus Clean Basic to the water, the Basic encapsulates the bromine. This can lead to foam. We would recommend combining the Lotus Clean Basic with the Lotus Clean Shock instead of bromine tablets.
With bromines, there is also a risk that - when using an ozonator - ozone can cause carcinogenic bromate to form in the water.
