LC082 -- Is there a minimum temperature in the whirlpool for Lotus Clean products to be effective?

Is there a minimum temperature of the whirlpool water that is necessary for the effectiveness of Lotus Clean products? I operate a whirlpool and would like to reduce the water temperature to 20 degrees in summer. I have already been using Lotus Clean Basic and Lotus Clean Shock for several years at water temperatures between 32 and 39 degrees in my whirlpool - and am very satisfied with them. However, we have not yet used the whirlpool in summer - but would like to try this at a temperature between 20 and 25 degrees.

Answer:
There is no minimum temperature for the effectiveness of the Lotus Clean products. However, the colder the water, the better! This is because bacteria multiply most quickly at a water temperature between 30 degrees and 40 degrees. In this temperature range, one bacterium can turn into more than a billion bacteria within one day. This, of course, requires a higher amount of disinfectant. When the water temperature drops below 30 degrees, the reproduction of the bacteria decreases and slows down. Therefore, you also need less disinfectant at lower temperatures.

Lotus Clean Shock forms a water-soluble gas in the water, which consists of two thirds oxygen. At high temperatures and with a lot of water movement, this gases out more quickly, whereas at lower temperatures and with less use, it remains stable and effective in the water for longer. Lotus Clean Basic is equally strong and effective at any water temperature.
