Is Lotus Clean skin-friendly?

Many people complain of skin problems when using their hot tubs. These skin problems are almost always caused by the disinfectants used. Our Lotus Clean cleaning system is 100% skin-friendly – we’ve had it tested. The test was conducted by the proDerm Institute for Applied Dermatological Research.
For the study, 22 subjects were tested against 5 different samples over a period of 6 days.
Sample 1 - Test series A = Pure tap water
Sample 2 - Test series B = Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate (dilution 0.3% - positive sample. All skin types react to this substance)
Sample 3 - Test series C = Lotus Clean Basic (dilution 40 ml / 1000 liters)
Sample 4 - Test series D = Lotus Clean Shock (dilution 40 ml / 1000 liters)
Sample 5 - Test series E = mixture of Lotus Clean Shock and Lotus Clean Basic (1:1 mixture)
Study results: test subjects showed no reaction to either Lotus Clean Basic, Lotus Clean Shock or the mixture of Lotus Clean Basic and Lotus Clean Shock. Consequently, this indicates that the skin’s toleration of Lotus Clean Basic and Lotus Clean Shock is identical to that of fresh drinking water.
