Do I need to adjust the pH value when using Lotus Clean? How high should it be, if possible?

Lotus Clean works at any pH level. However, please make sure that your pH level remains in a range of 7.0 to 7.8, since a pH level that's too high or too low can damage your hot tub. Please note that the pH level can rise sharply the first few weeks after refilling your hot tub. This is the water's natural reaction to being heated up and to turbulence, and is not caused by Lotus Clean. Following this period, the pH usually levels off in its natural range of 7.0-7.8. If this does not happen, please lower the pH with a pH reducer.
Measure your pH level at least once per week to detect and correct any potentially excessive pH values. You can use any commercial pH lowering/raising products for this.
